More Choo Choo pease!!!

Every morning when Kate woke up she said "ride choo choo" it is all she talked about all week, so we went toLattin Farm again for the choo choo. She ran to the cow train and rode it 8 times in a row, and everytime it stopped she just said "more choo choo pease" She loves the the pumkin festival and would live there if I would let her. At the end of the day she got stung by a bee on the face and she screamed until I asked her if she wanted to ride the choo and she quit crying and said "yea" She is still made that the bee bite me but still hasn't had enough of Lattin Farms.

This is where Kylie was hanging out, while Kate was playing. She liked pulling the grass and putting it in her mouth. Where did I get these girls. She was a good sport all day.

It's hard to see but this is her little swollen face about 8 hours later. I think she might wake up with a black eye. She'll look tough.

What a FUN weekend!!

Saturday morning I wanted to do something fun but we just knew that Fallon had nothing to offer. We were wrong. We first took the girls to Wal-mart to get new bike tube so we could go on a ride and found the walmart parking lot busting with fun. They had fire trucks, helicopers and Mcgruff the crime dog. Kate got balloons and stuffed animals, she was so happy. Then we went to Lattin Farms to the pumkin festival and we all had so much fun. Kate was in love with the cow train (and yes the cow car is named Annie) She rode the train probably 15 times and they had a petting zoo and hayride out to the pumkin patch. The weather was awesome and it was just a great family day.

BURRRRRR COLD!!

Last weekend a cold front moved through and it was freezing. We woke up Friday morning and this is what we saw. Kate wanted to make a "now man". Pretty crazy for October.

Kate is going through some real growing up pains these days. Yesterday she bit the tip off her bottle during nap time and so I used that opprotunity to throw our babas away. She did it willingly and the told everyone that her baba was brokeeee. Last night was our first night without and it wasn't the smoothest night, she missed it tons and now she is in her bed (for naptime) crying for mama and dad. I don't really know what I'm doing here so if anyone has any advice and on how to take bottles away I'm all ears (and no that is not an excuse for big ear jokes). Thanks and love you all-

I heart San Francisco!!!

So I don't really love San Francisco but it is a fun place to visit. Last weekend we went up there and met our great friends for Oceanside and had a ball. It was so fun to get away and see the sites and be with friends. They babies got to make the trip with us but they bigger baby stayed home with Grandma and grandpa and aunt Shelly (she wasn't so excited to see us home, she loved being the center of their world for the weekend. So Happy anniversary to David and Sarah, Happy Birthday to Amanda and So good to See Cassie and Ryan again.

Big Girl Kylie!!!

Kylie has changed so much this last month. She has the sweetest personality and she has been the best baby (even better than Kate, hard to believe) She just started rolling over and she laughs out loud at about anything, she just loves anyone to talk to her and she'll flash that cute little dimple. Got to love this sweet angel. I know I am truly the most blessed momma ever to have two sweet girls.

HOT TOE (Tahoe) REUNION

We spent last week in Tahoe for a Family reunion and it was so much fun. We had the best time, we relaxed, played, beached, biked and boated and of course ate very very well. Kate loved the fact that she could be outside at all times and was filthy dirty most of the time. We took family pictures which is always fun, right. We went on a bike ride and found these dogs at the top of a hill. She was in love and we had to peel her away from them.

We got a wii fit on saturday and we didn't leave the house all afternoon we just competed for best hula hooper. By the way I'm the Champ at 864 hoops in super hula hoop. Someone beat that!!

This is Kate at the pool and she saw the other kids jumping off the diving board and she wanted to do it too. She is fearless and crazy. You just got to love her.

We are getting used to living in Fallon now and getting out and enjoying what Fallon has to offer.

To Good Friends

Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.

I have had great friends throughout my life that have filled in where there were whole. And good friends it what makes the days fun and life easier. I just wanted to thank the good friends in my life and hope that I get the opprotunity to make more great friends.
To all my friends in Oceanside Thank you for the amazing year, I wanted to thank you all individually and say goodbye personally but I'm chicken and I hate to cry, and my last few days there I was on the verge of tears at all times, and fighting back the tears gave me the worse headache. But I want you all to know that I love you and my family loves you and I will cherish the memories and the relationships.
I know that is mushy and sad but I wanted everyone to know how much they affected my life and that they will be missed.
On a happier note, I got a new house of my very own and I love so far. I'm even having a good time keeping clean and picked up which doesn't sound like me at all. So far Donny is liking his new job and Kate is loving all the attention she is getting from her grandma and aunt Shelly, and Kylie is just being a good girl and has been living in her swing throughout the move.

HEAT WAVE!!!!!

There has been a heat wave this last week here in San Diego County and we are trying to get through it the best way we know how. Kate has been living in the pool the last two days and she is our little fish. She is fearless and loves the water. She is loving going to the pool with daddy and has learned how to use her floaties and now she doesn't want her daddy to hold her in the water. Kylie and I are just hanging inside mostly by the fans. She is just eating and sleeping like a champ. I am a very lucky mother who is well rested, she has been sleeping most the night for the last few weeks. She's a very sweet baby.

I don't let Kate feed herself most days but she wouldn't eat if I fed her so I gave up and let her do it herself. Now you know why I don't let her feed herself.

She is getting so big and definately sweet. She is a good sleeper at night as well. She has been sleeping until about five every morning then she needs to have a snack. She doesn't sleep great during the day but I can handle that.

Kate has been spending lots more time with daddy lately and she is really milking it. She went with Donny to walgreens on saturday and got to go to lunch and get "bite Fry" her new favorite meal.

Crazy Beautiful Life

My SISTER thinks that Kylie isn't going to like me because we don't have any pictures of her and she hasn't made the blog enough, but two kids is alot busier than I thought it was going to be, But we are surviving. I have been getting picked on for not updating my blog but it has been put way down on my list of things to get done in the day, right behind brushing my teeth and showering.

We do have alot of new changes in our lives besides having our sweet little Kylie. If you haven't heard we are being transferred to Fallon, NV in late July. I'm not ready to leave Oceanside because it is wonderful here, and we have some wonderful friends and Kate has some wonderful friends and the weather is great and it's close to my family but Fallon is a blessing in disguise. Donny's family is there and Hopefully Donny won't be deployed out of Fallon. We can't find a house yet so we don't know where we are going to live yet which is big stress. Hopefully we will go there and find something that will fit us well.

I also forgot to mention that I am a proud owner of a MINI VAN which I love. I never thought that I would but I do. It's great and it makes my life so much easier. I'm actually getting out of the house these days and running errand. It's great.

Kate has adjusted well to being KICKED OFF her thrown ( I don't think that is how you spell that but I don't want to check on it right now) She has started sucking on pacifiers and needing a blanket everytime I wrap the baby up but I think this will all blow over after a while. She is loving the extra attention her daddy gives her when he's home though. They are quite the best buddies these days.
